NO FEAR HERE!
Dealing with fear :Introductory notes! for GTKJ group. January 2016
2 nd Tim 1:7
"For he has not given you a spirit of fear ,but of power ,love and a sound mind " NKJV
When looking at this verse we can quite easily read over it and think ,Oh God doesn't want us to fear.You would be right ,but incomplete!
Let's look at the verse again ..
He has not given :
So if God hasn't given it ,where did it come from? We know the bible tells us that there is but one creator..God himself .So if God did not give nor create fear .Then who did ,where did it come from?
First you must realize what fear is .Deut 30:19 Tells us that there is a choice in life (life or death /blessing or curse) God did not create the alternative to blessing.
The curse is something that we chose when we chose to follow Satan in the garden rather than heeding the word of God

Satan cannot create but he can distort or warp.For instance sex is a great thing .God created sex ,and he give us the arena for which it is to be used in i.e marriage.When taken outside of marriage i.e adultery ,this is not Gods intention ,rather it is a warping a distortion of what it was intended for,this is what the enemy does.
GOD DID NOT GIVE US FEAR ..HE GAVE US FAITH :
Fear is a spiritual law .It os infact the reciprocal or the otherside of the coin of faith.Both faith and fear obey the same spiritual principles or laws.Faith would be from the life camp mentioned in Deut 30:19 and fear from the death camp.Faith comes by hearing the word of God and fear comes therfore by hearing the contradiction to the word of God.
2 SIDES OF THE SAME SPIRITUAL COIN:
In the book of Job 3:25 Job says the thing he feared the most has come upon him !..obeying the same spiritual law as faith would,before manifesting in to physical form.
